Parenthood in Sweden – course in English
Parenthood in Sweden is a course for those who were born abroad and have children aged 0–18 and would like to learn more about important things in Swedish society.
A new course starts in week 45, 2025. More information will follow.

The course includes themes such as:
- Parents’ rights and obligations
- How preschool, school and healthcare work
- How the municipality can help families
- Leisure activities in Älmhult
- Support, in case one has problems with child raising in Sweden
We meet 5 times. In these five sessions, you will meet other parents in the group and talk about different themes together with trained group leaders.
