PYP 2 Students Explore Goods and Services in the Community

Our PYP 2 students have reached the “finding out and sorting out” phase of their inquiry into the central idea: “People provide goods and services based on community wants and needs.”

To deepen their understanding, the students took a learning walk to the town center, where they visited a variety of local establishments, including barber shops, restaurants, and flower shops. During the visit, they also interviewed community members to gain first-hand insights into the different goods and services provided.

The students were highly engaged throughout the experience, with many especially excited about the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions and interact with people in the community. It was a meaningful way to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences.

A big thank you to our community for warmly welcoming our curious learners!
