Our PYP 1 students recently celebrated a special milestone — 100 days at school!

Our PYP 1 students recently celebrated an exciting milestone — 100 days at school! The day was a wonderful opportunity to recognise how much our young learners have grown during their first months of the school year.
Over the past 100 days, students have developed as independent learners, confident communicators, and curious thinkers. The celebration gave them the chance to reflect on their learning while taking part in fun and creative activities centred around the number 100.
Fun and Creative Activities
Students proudly shared their 100-day collections and enjoyed a variety of hands-on activities. They stacked 100 cups, practised counting in tens, designed their own imaginative 100-dollar bills, and created artwork showing what they might look like at 100 years old. The activities encouraged creativity, teamwork, and joyful learning.
A Sweet Celebration
The day ended with a cheerful celebration where students received certificates and enjoyed a special 100-day cake together.
“It has been fantastic to see how much the students have grown in such a short time. They were incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone together.” – PYP Teacher
Student Reflections
Students were also eager to share their thoughts about the day:
“We enjoyed the activity.”
“The whole day was fun.”
“The party part was so much fun.”
“The 100th day cake was nice.”
“Playing games and stacking 100 cups was so much fun.”
“I liked my 100th day collection.”
A big thank you to our wonderful PYP 1 teachers and supportive families who helped make this day so special. We are excited to continue the learning journey and look forward to many more school days ahead.
