At IKEA, everything starts with a deep understanding of the many people, how we live, what we need, and what makes life at home better. Through thousands of home visits around the world, IKEA explores everyday life in all its diversity; from living situations and home sizes to habits, needs, and dreams. To make this knowledge accessible, IKEA has created Open Home – a shared platform where insights from home visits can be uploaded, explored, and used to inspire new ideas.
During this session, Eva-Carin Banka Johnson and Terje Nilstun from IKEA Insights team will share how IKEA works to understand life at home and how Open Home helps everyone, from retailers to product planners, get closer to the many people and create meaningful innovation.
There will also be fika, time for questions and some mingle.
