Permit-free building "Attefallshus"
There are buildings you can construct without a building permit; i.e. Attefallshus.
As of 2 July 2014, it has been permissible to construct one or several stand-alone supplemental buildings with a maximum of 25 m² floor space, and a maximum of 4 meters to the roof apex. An Attefall house may be used as a residence but also as, for example, carports, garages or conservatories.
Attefallshus require a building report, but not a building permit. If you wish to submit a building report, contact the department of planning/building and environment.
