Exhibitions
Diversity exhibition at Älmhult Art Centre
This is the first time that the School of Culture and the Art Centre collaborate and exhibit the students' work! The exhibition involves 20 children - ages ranging from 8 to 20 years.
Friday 13-16, Saturday 11-14, Sunday 12-15.
Vernissage IKEA Museum
Pupils in preschool class and first grade exhibit their works created during the spring semester project "Colour & design - how does it feel". Saturday and Sunday at 10-18.

Come and jump in the bouncy castles.
Gaming café at ABF
Älmhult Game and Culture together with ABF Kronoberg invites you to a game café. Try out different games, get information about figure games, LAN, and e-sport, try painting and building models, have coffee and meet others with the same interest!
Face painting for children
Free face painting for all children. A warm welcome!
Pop-up performances Malte Knapp
Malte Knapp, a circus and show artist, surprises on both days of the festival. The audience is treated to spectacular family entertainment with daring balancing acts.
Humorous couples’ dressage
On Saturday, Teater Fenix visits Älmhult with its humorous couples' dressage. Both young and old hobby horse enthusiasts are welcome. Why not visit the stables at Stortorget - here you will find 27 foals / hobby horses that both young and old can groom, feed or ride, together with the two riders from Teater Fenix.
Tailgate Flea Market
Welcome to the flea market on Norra Esplanaden on Saturday at 10-15.
The diversity festival
On Friday, we open the festival with a diversity parade. Colour will be added to the centre of Älmhult with a sparkling parade, shows and performances.
Location and time
- Pre-party and mingle outside IKEA Museum from 15.30.
- Departure from IKEA Museum at 18.30.
- Performances Stortorget at 19.00.
We welcome everyone who supports the festival's theme of celebrating and highlighting the equal value of all people. Regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, gender identity and religion, says Annika Holmqvist, manager at "Fenix fritidsgård" in Älmhult municipality.

Joddla med Siv May 27
Live! invites you to a fast-paced concert with Joddla med Siv Saturday 27 May.
Since 1990, Joddla Med Siv from the deepest South of Sweden have delivered their trademark mixture of rock'n'roll and folk, complete with an absurd but unassuming humor in their native language. For this, they have earned a perennial status as a Swedish cult act.

Tone Sekelius
Friday
Tone Sekelius was the first trans person in the 2022 Melodifestivalen competition with the song 'My Way' and finished in fifth place. This year, Tone went directly to the final of the competition with the song "Rhythm Of My Show".
Tone won the award for LGBT Person of the Year 2022 at the QX gala and was celebrated during her performances at Allsång på Skansen and PRIDE. She has also become one of Sweden's biggest influencers on TikTok and YouTube. Right now, Tone is a current host of Paradise and a participant in Lets Dance.
Da Buzz

Saturday
Da Buzz - the Swedish pop group, that broke through in 2000, can deliver a cavalcade of hits that very few can match. Who hasn't heard and sung along to "Do You Want Me", "Alive" and "Dangerous"?
In 2015, Da Buzz was back again and the duo recorded a new EP in the US that reached #5 on the Billboard Club Dance chart.
In recent years, they have met audiences both in international clubs and in large arenas such as the Telenor Arena in Oslo during the "We Love The 2000" tour.
Grannen Måns

Grannen Måns is the artist who has taken children's music by storm in only two years. Today, there is hardly a single person under the age of 15 who does not know who Grannen Måns is. His music is characterized by happy and funny lyrics and melodies where several of the songs also have educational and value -building content.
Grannen Måns started as a YouTube phenomenon when he appeared on his neighbour's YouTube channel, Sebastian Tadros. He quickly became one of the most popular features on Tardo's channel and it wasn't long before the duo started creating music under the name Grannen Måns!
Today, Grannen Måns has his own social media channels where he has quickly increased in popularity. His music videos has over 10 million views, his music has been streamed up to 20 million times and he has made several appearances, including opening the popular children's program Sommarlovsmorgon with his song "Sommarlov".
Grannen Måns is already one of Sweden's most streamed and most popular children's artists and the future is full of plans to be put into action!
Cherrie

Sweden's own R&B queen Cherrie has been awarded a number of prices for her artistry and won several swedish music contests such as P3 Gold and Grammys. She gladly emphasizes her roots and shows constant support for her hometown and leading the way for the younger generation. In 2015, Cherrie released her first single "Tabanja", which was the starting point for her music career and in the same year she was nominated for the Grammys "Newcomer of the year" and "Music video of the year".
The following year was enhanced with the debut album "Sherihan" which also received a guest appearance from Stormzy himself. Later on this led to Cherrie supporting Stormzy throughout his European tour. That same year Cherrie was chosen to do 30 Days in LA and 30 Days in Chicago and during this month Cherrie appeared on several billboards around Los Angeles and was the opener for the artist Jhené Aiko at the sold out Avalon during her time in the States.
In 2021, she was one of the participants in the Swedish TV program "Så mycket bättre", and performed a successful interpretation of Peter Jöback's song "Stockholm i natt".
Malte Knapps Cirkus

Malte Knapp is a Swedish circus and show artist who has performed on big stages all over the world, including in Las Vegas.
Audiences are treated to spectacular family entertainment with daring balancing acts on chairs and rolling cylinders, knife and sword juggling and world-class performances on the most amazing unicycles imaginable.
DJ Alejandro

Friday
Since 1998 DJ Ale a.k.a Alejandro Samayoa has performed professionally as a DJ throughout Sweden and internationally with many big names in the music world.
He brings style, class and unbelievable energy to every set with his professional and wide experience of many music styles which takes DJ Ale the events to a whole new level. He has been influenced by his Latin American roots and through it he has created his own touch to the modern club music.
Based in Västerås where he had among other things the prestigious responsibility of the entertainment, experience and DJ residency at the magnificent Steam Hotel.
