About the festival

The festival is planned and designed entirely in line with the watchwords of our venue brand: international, homely, down-to-earth and resourceful.

We have a fantastic cultural school with talented students. We will of course take advantage of this. Putting the spotlight on our local talents, especially young ones, is fully in line with the ambition to increase participation in cultural life. The cultural life of the future is created by today's children and young people. The talented young people we see at the Älmhult Festival may very well perform on a large national or international stage in the future.

The festival also helps to strengthen the location and increase the attractiveness of the city center, thereby benefiting merchants, cafes, restaurants and others.
