The International School Pre-school

The pre-school was established in January 2003 and today fully implements the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as offered by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO).

At school we believe that education influences and reflects the values of society. It is important therefore that at school, even at this young age, we recognise a broad set of common values and purposes that underpin the school curriculum and the work within the pre-school.

Education is the route to equality of opportunity for all, a healthy and just democracy, a productive economy, and sustainable development. Within the pre-school education reflects the enduring values that contribute to these ends.

The PYP strives for a balance between the search for understanding, the acquisition of essential knowledge and skills, the development of positive attitudes and the opportunity for positive action.
