Family law centre
The municipalities of Älmhult, Ljungby and Markaryd share a common centre for family law, hosted by the municipality of Älmhult. The three municipalities also have a common political committee for family law issues.
The family law centre assists parents with legal issues regarding their children. Co-operative talks help the parents to agree on parental cooperation. If parents agree on issues concerning child custody, right of access, and living arrangements, the centre can help setting up the legal documents.
The family law centre also works with inquiries concerning child custody, right of access, and living arrangements, commissioned by the district court. Further, the centre handles paternity inquiries and adoptions.
